GROUP CALLS FOR EXTENSION OF PRESIDENT MARCOS JR.'S TERM

The group "Bagong Pilipinas Chronicles" has voiced a strong call to extend the term of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., enabling him to continue leading the country and ensuring genuine progress.
According to the group, Marcos's leadership must continue to guarantee the nation's development. "For the true progress of our country," they added.
However, it was also noted that extending the President's term is not possible without amending the Constitution, particularly the provisions regarding term limits.
It is worth recalling that this is the same group that previously called for Marcos Jr. to become Prime Minister—a change that could only be realized through an amendment to the Philippine Constitution. (RTB)
