Former President Rodrigo Duterte received hundreds of thousands of heart reactions during his first public appearance following an 18-month hiatus.
Social media posts show that
the reactions Duterte received reached nearly half a million, with the vast majority expressing affection.
Among the highest counts recorded were 243,000 hearts on ABS-CBN and 267,000 hearts on GMA.
"Tatay still looks fresher compared to the 'Team Bangag' [stoned/dazed crew]," remarked netizen Ghang.
"Those who caused the imprisonment are more stressed than the one who was imprisoned," commented netizen Orlando.
